MA Curatorial Studies

The focus of the Master’s programme is academic reflection on curating and art criticism as an intellectual and aesthetic challenge with a practice-oriented perspective. The aim of the programme is to bestow skills that link an object-related approach to theoretical knowledge and expertise. One of the major interests of the programme is to open up discussions on curating and art criticism that have so far been closely connected to contemporary art to previous eras and other cultural-science disciplines.
