Call for projects 2025
Organization
Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève
Location
Genève, Switzerland
Deadline
31-Aug-2024
Founded in 1974, the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève aims to support contemporary artists through the production of original works.
With the renovation of the exhibition spaces in the Bâtiment d’Art Contemporain scheduled for 2025 to 2029, the Centre is launching an annual call for projects to co-produce multidisciplinary projects and publications.
We invite cultural institutions, not-for-profit spaces, artists and curators from the Geneva art scene to submit proposals for monographic exhibitions, group shows and performances. Proposals may also include publication projects such as exhibition catalogues, artists’ books or monographs. Applications for the 2024 session must be for projects scheduled to open to the public in June 2025 at the earliest.
Depending on the project and its resources, the Centre d’art will also be able to support project promoters with its technical, communication and cultural mediation expertise.
Each year, the Centre will select three projects:
– one institutional, artist and/or curatorial project promoting the international reputation of a Geneva-based artist, with funding of CHF 15,000;
– two exhibition or publication projects, supported by institutions, artists or curators CHF 10,000 per project;
We encourage to seize this opportunity to collaborate and contribute to Geneva’s artistic vitality.
