OCA is seeking a Communications Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Contemporary Art and a commitment to promoting art and culture programs to audiences both nationally and internationally.
You will work closely with the Head of Communications to ensure all content meets high-quality standards and aligns with OCA's communication strategy. As Communications Advisor, you will play a key role in developing and implementing content across various platforms. This hands-on position involves creating graphics, text, photo, video, and audio content to support OCA's activities and mission.
Briefly about the job:
Content creation for all digital platforms (social media, website etc)
Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud, or other similar software.
Documentation of events and other OCA activity – using video, photo and audio
Graphic design that is based on OCA’s templates
Experience using CMS platforms (we use Craft CMS)
Creating and sending newsletters (we use MAKE for our newsletters)
General digital competence (Microsoft 365, Slack, Trello etc)
We're looking for someone who is organized, hardworking, and flexible. While these skills are important, we place a strong emphasis on personal qualities. Some evening and weekend work will be required. This is a 1-year full-time temporary position and the salary is negotiable. Desired start date, week 33.
Qualifications:
Relevant education within Communications, Journalism, Design or Art History
Experience with digital tools and publishing platforms
Experience with photography and video production
A clear, creative and concise writing style. Our working language is English, but Norwegian language skills are desirable.

Ability to find creative and innovative ways to develop OCA´s communication.
Precision and thoroughness in the production of work
Flexible and adaptable to different work contexts
Open and welcoming to colleagues, stakeholders and guests
