Wasserspiegel – Water Bodies

Water supply, drop by drop, from woman to mussel to mosquito –– in the huge whirlpool of the water cycle, all beings bubble and coalesce, connected to each other. Drops live as green water in plants, land sip by sip in the belly of the earth, flow in streams over withered soils, find a channel that unites them all, and let the sun carry them into the clouds until the thunderstorm lets the drops fall again over forests and mountains. What would happen if the water droplets remained trapped in the clouds? What if our dry seasons become longer from year to year? Or if all the water is released at once?
