We’re honored to welcome Tony Evanko, artist, architect, and founder of Fundación Casa Tres Patios (@c3patios), an organization dedicated to using art and education as tools for social transformation. Since its founding in 2006, Casa Tres Patios has fostered critical thinking, civic engagement, and collaborative learning in Medellín, while Tony’s artistic practice has continued to circulate internationally in institutions such as the Davis Museum and the Museum of Antioquia.
 

In this conversation, Tony will reflect on how and why an arts organization can shift its priorities—and what happens when it does. He will walk us through the Foundation’s evolution from a nationally and internationally recognized arts center into a socially oriented organization that uses artistic practices to support community-led processes and strengthen the social fabric. Through emblematic projects and everyday practices, we will explore how prioritizing the present can open new pathways for shaping more equitable futures.
