Biography
Barbara Koller D’Alessandro (Palermo, 1998) is a curator and visual artist. After earning a degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo, she obtained a Master’s in Visual Arts from the IUAV University of Venice. Her practice moves between curatorial research and artistic production, intertwining a theoretical dimension with practical experimentation. She explores how artworks can generate relationships, communities, and new forms of participation, often drawing on moments of personal and collective memory. She lives and works in Venice, where she has curated and exhibited projects in independent spaces and galleries, collaborating with prominent national and international curators and institutions. Currently, she is an artist-in-residence at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation’s Atelier Program for 2025/2026, where she continues to develop her research and expand the relational and participatory aspects of her work.
