BIOGRAPHY
Constanza Carvajal is a Chilean artist based in Berlin whose practice bridges visual art and cultural production. Working both individually and collectively, she creates installations and textiles that explore everyday aesthetics and overlooked details, engaging deeply with specific social and urban contexts. Her work investigates urban life, architecture, and the tension between public and private spaces. For over a decade, she has been an active member of the Chilean collective Mil M2, developing cultural prototypes and collaborative projects aimed at generating collective knowledge in public spaces. Their work has been exhibited across Latin and North America, and Europe. Beyond her artistic practice, Constanza has contributed to exhibition design, education, construction, and interior design. Since 2021, she has collaborated with “DA SIND WIR*,” an initiative that uses artistic interventions to amplify the role and visibility of FLINTAQ* individuals in public space. Her interdisciplinary approach challenges dominant narratives and reclaims overlooked spaces and stories.
