Melania Macaya

Melania Macaya is a Visual artist trained at the University of Chile with a specialization in Painting. Cultural manager and founder of the MA Gallery project. Her artistic project focuses on the representation of the collective nude and group painting, which began in 2018 with the exhibition called "From the individual to the collective". This has implied the development of research that focuses on the creation of spaces for the manifestation of collective nude encounters, which are recorded and transferred to various supports such as painting, photography, video, and performance. In her academic preparation, she has completed a Diploma in Cultural Management at the Pontificia Universidad Católica with the aim of deepening the research and design of cultural projects, as well as a Diploma in Corporeality and Techno-Narratives at the University of Buenos Aires.
