BIOGRAPHY
Victoria Stepanets is an independent art curator and cultural manager. Originally from Ukraine, she lives and works in London and graduated from the Royal College of Art, Curating Contemporary Art MA. In addition, Victoria has European higher education in journalism and international relations. This background determined the direction of Victoria’s curatorial work – to highlight acute socio-political topics through contemporary art. Having experience in the field of culture for more than five years, Victoria founded a magazine about the values of cultural life, promoting the idea of highly professional contemporary art. Later, this activity expanded to curation of art exhibitions and multimedia art projects. As of today, Victoria has organised dozens of cultural events including art exhibitions in Ukraine, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, United Kingdom. Her experience also includes a series of publications about art, in cooperation with the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, as well as a partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Since 2023, Victoria has been a member of the CEE Creative Network organised by Centrala Space.
