Esra Nesipoğulları is an artist working with embroidery and drawing to make language, memory, and belonging tangible. Rooted in architecture and diasporic experience, she constructs personal alphabets and tactile documents that explore how meaning is built, misread, or . Her practice moves within the spaces between language, identity, and memory where things shift, mistranslate, or resist clarity.
Her work examines how invisible structures - language, borders, and translation - shape who is heard and who is overlooked.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project begins with a question: what happens when artistic production moves from the gallery to the factory? It proposes participatory artworks that introduce moments of unproductive play into the workplace, where workers collectively create visual language, dialogue, and new forms of meaning. Rather than producing goods, the project creates space for expression, reflection, and collective imagination.
