EOIs are open to be part of our upcoming show, A Library of Libraries, curated by Grey Dear, as part of our Gallery Activations Program.

About:
During March, Blindside will offer a site of convergence for micro libraries, community collections & para-institutional researchers. These existing bodies of knowledge will be brought together and woven into  relationships to form 'a library of libraries'. 

Collections of various forms will be held within the gallery and made available for public browsing. The gallery will be open as a temporary library and public resource: a space for people to gather, rest, work, exchange and learn.

Who Can Get Involved:
We are interested to hear from independent libraries and reading groups, as well as people working with related artistic and research-based practices. Special consideration will be given to those working with grassroots, decolonial and experimental methods. 

Collections and practices may involve:

• books and other text-based or print materials

• artworks & objects

• community resources

• records & archival materials

• Digital & analogue materials

• embodied knowledge, community memory

• ephemeral objects, dreams & ideas

• unfinished projects

How to Get Involved:
Please fill out this form to express your interest in collaborating with us to activate your collection or practice. 

This could take many forms, including:

• physically displaying part of your catalogue/collection/archive in the gallery

• hosting a reading group, talk, workshop, performance or experimental event

• undertaking on-site research within the Library of Libraries

• exhibiting artworks that are related to the show's themes

• something we haven't thought of?

Practical Details:

• A Library of Libraries will be showing from: 
  Wednesday 4 March - Saturday 28 March

• Install: Mon 2 March & Tues 3 March

• Deinstall: Sun 29 March

• Unfortunately Blindside does not have any partner fees to offer. Participation is on a collaborative and voluntary basis
