SAC International Curatorial Residency Programme 2025 is the Sant Andreu Contemporani residency programme, co-produced with the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB), in collaboration with Fabra i Coats - Fàbrica de Creació de Barcelona, ​​aimed at international curators. Within the framework of this programme, a call is open to select an international curator, who will be part of the jury of the Miquel Casablancas Visual Arts Call 2025 and will develop a curatorial project with a selection of artists from the Catalan context, presented in the competition . The project must be presented in the curator's country of residence or in another international space of his/her choice. The residency covers the fees for the deliberation of the award and the development of the curatorial proposal (€2,000, taxes and withholdings included), the management and production costs of the exhibition (€2,000, taxes and withholdings included), accommodation and travel.

The aim of the call is to offer personal knowledge of the artistic context through the Miquel Casablancas Visual Arts Call and to encourage future international collaborations between local and foreign agents within the framework of young art.

For reasons of sustainability and resource requirements, the geographical scope contemplated for the proposals is Europe, the Mediterranean and the Maghreb.

The registration period will be from December 1, 2024 to March 1, 2025. The registration form will close at midnight on March 1, 2025 and applications will not be accepted after this time. In case of problems with the online registration form, it will be necessary to send the required documentation by email before midnight on March 1, 2025.

The selected person will be announced on March 14, 2025.
