The artist-in-residence programs initiated by the MBB offer selected filmmakers the opportunity to gain international experience and network. The grants typically include travel expenses, accommodation, and a monthly stipend.

Exchange program for filmmakers from Berlin-Brandenburg and France, initiated by MBB, the Institut Français Germany, and the City of Paris.

Filmmakers from France should contact our partner institution, the City of Paris, Department of Cultural Affairs . The Berlin residency of the French scholarship recipients will be managed by the Nipkow Program.

Exchange program for filmmakers from Berlin-Brandenburg and Greece, initiated by MBB, the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki , and the Thessaloniki Film Festival.

. Filmmakers from Greece should contact our partner institution , the Thessaloniki Film Festival . The Berlin residency of the Greek scholarship recipients will be supported by the Nipkow Program.
