"Terre Altre" is now underway, an international open call for visual artists and curators under 36 for a six-month residency program dedicated to moving images . The program is promoted by the Municipality of Subbiano, together with CasermArcheologica and Ideatica, and funded by the Tuscany Region under the PR FSE+ Toscana 2021/27 program as part of Giovanisì ( www.giovanisi.it ), the Tuscany Region's project for youth empowerment.

The project will select 10 artists and 2 curators for a journey between October 2026 and May 2027.

The residency will take place in Sansepolcro, Arezzo, and Subbiano, divided into three phases: training, local research, and artistic production, involving audiovisual professionals. The central theme is "Inhabiting the Margin, Shifting the Center," which invites us to rethink inner spaces as spaces for cultural experimentation and new narratives.

Participants will create original audiovisual works that will be presented in a final exhibition and a festival spread throughout the region.

The program includes a

monthly grant of 500 euros,
free accommodation,
access to spaces and equipment and production support .

Applications are open from April 13th to May 22nd, 2026.

The call is open to Italian and international candidates with a minimum level of knowledge of the Italian language.
