The Foundation offers grants to non-profit arts organisations actively engaged in the cultural sector, supporting artistic projects. Find out more on our FAQs.

We support initiatives across the UK and Europe and by invitation only for international projects. Grants, ranging from £5,000 to £100,000, are awarded twice a year.

Eligibility

Projects must fulfil all the requirements below to be eligible:

• Be hosted by established organisations with a track record of delivering artistic projects.

• Promote the sharing of traditional or contemporary Asian culture.

• Include established or mid-career level artists from Asia or the diasporas.

• Result in a tangible public outcome.

• Align with our mission as outlined here.

Please note that our grants do not support research and development-only projects, and we do not accept applications from individuals.

Donations towards education, relief work, development and healthcare do not use the submittable platform and are at the discretion of the trustees with no deadlines.

What we support

The Foundation supports diverse forms of cultural expression, encompassing both traditional and contemporary mediums, such as:

• Artisan crafts

• Exhibitions and Biennials

• Music

• New public commissions

• Performing arts

• Literature public events

• Prizes and awards

How to apply

The Arts and Culture Grant application is a two-stage process. After a successful expression of interest, selected applicants will receive an invitation to submit a full application.

The Spring Round of Open Grants is now open.

Key dates

Stage 1 Expression of Interest: 9 February - 11 March, 11:59pm (GMT)

Stage 2 deadline: 17 April, 11:59pm (BST)

Outcome: early July 2026

We welcome applications for projects due for public outcomes no earlier than 1 September 2026.

We cannot accept applications outside of the Submittable platform.
