Wysing are looking to recruit a new Assistant Curator. Working from our rural 11 acre site, this role will support the delivery of Wysing's artistic programme, across residencies, commissions and events,

The Assistant Curator supports the development and delivery of Wysing’s artistic programme, ensuring high-quality experiences for artists and audiences. They contribute curatorial ideas, manage project planning and delivery, and support Wysing’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and artist development.

We are looking for someone imaginative, collaborative and well organised; an excellent communicator with great attention to detail. Our new Assistant Curator will be passionate about supporting artists, with a deep understanding of the challenges facing our sector – and especially artists – at this time. They will be excited the potential to support and develop programmes that unfold from Wysing’s rural setting.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000
Working pattern & location: flexible working will be considered, however this role requires on-site working at least 4 days per week. Occasional evening and weekend working necessary (Wysing operates a TOIL system).
Contract: Permanent, subject to review in the first three months
Reporting to: Curator
