Futura Seoul is seeking an Assistant Curator/Curator. Futura Seoul is a space that showcases future-oriented contemporary art within the historical context of Bukchon, planning collaborative exhibitions with domestic and international artists. We are seeking individuals with expertise in exhibition planning and operation, as well as in various practical aspects of the art space. We encourage your interest and application.

Duties
Practical exhibition planning and operation
Communication with domestic and international authors and institutions
Author research and promotional text writing
Planning and operating exhibition-related programs and events
Other various practical support services provided by Futura Seoul (PR, official channel management, partner communication, exhibition archiving and record management, etc.)
Qualifications
Applicants with at least 3 years of practical experience in related institutions such as art galleries, art spaces, and museums (*required)
English communication skills that enable you to write fluent documents and emails in English and communicate in business (*required)
Those who are not disqualified from traveling abroad (*required)
Students majoring in art, art history, art studies, and related fields
Understanding of domestic and international art trends and networking
Preferential treatment
Practical experience in exhibition planning, operation, and promotion
Experience collaborating with overseas organizations and artists (e.g., inviting artists, institutional partnerships)
Proficient in using design editing tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Intermediate or higher level of MS Office and Hancom Office usage
Those with a high level of understanding of spatial exhibitions such as media art and installation art.
Working conditions
Employment type: Contract (possible conversion to full-time employment after one year based on evaluation)
Salary: Negotiable after interview (subject to change based on experience and portfolio)
Working hours: 5 days a week / 9:00–18:00 (including 1-hour lunch break / flexible working hours during exhibitions and events) ※ Able to work weekends (required)
