The Hong Kong Chapter serves as an exceptional collaboration platform for Hong Kong’s professional small-to-medium sized arts groups and individual artists from the performing arts sector to present their bold artistic visions through dynamic 20-minute sessions, fostering dialogue and collaboration with international presenters and delegates at HKPAX 2026.  These sessions may include presentations, demonstrations, or tour-ready excerpt performances of their work(s).

A cohort of ten teams or individual artists will be selected to represent the rich diversity of Hong Kong’s performing arts. To strengthen these connections, facilitation will be provided to encourage engagement between international delegates and local groups, as well as to support post-event collaboration opportunities, ensuring the relationships continue to grow beyond the HKPAX.

Each awarded team or artist will receive:

1. an allowance of HKD 30,000;

2. basic technical and venue support at The Theatre of the East Kowloon Cultural Centre (EKCC);

3. two HKPAX passes and an exhibition spot at HKPAX;

4. the opportunity to be subsidised to attend international arts market(s), such as CINARS in Canada, following HKPAX 2026.
