Sous dôme is a festival organized by the Planetarium of the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie and its partners. Its aim is to introduce the general public to the diversity of immersive digital arts, appealing to both enthusiasts and the curious.

This  4th edition offers a variety of options and formats to provide an overview of immersive creation, under the dome. The festival will take place from  March 27th to 29th, 2026 , featuring 360° projections, a masterclass, a workshop, VR demonstrations, and live performances.

Call for 360° short films

Throughout the weekend, digital arts creations will be projected onto the Planetarium dome. Some sessions will be dedicated to works selected from the call for films. The films must be at least three minutes long and must not exceed nine minutes, including credits.

Categories

For this 4th edition, films can be submitted in one of the following categories:

• General Audience Category

• Youth Category (ages 6 to 12)

In the event of selection, it will be compiled into sessions of approximately 35 minutes.

Special attention will be given to efforts to utilize the 360° projection of the dome, the narrative of the works, and sound spatialization.

VR works are not accepted.

For this 4th edition, the festival will feature two honorary distinctions: the Audience Award and the Jury Award.
