The Viadukt Edition Residency Program is a workshop residency program for artists* who identify as women and are at least 40 years old. The goal is to support these artists* in their artistic production.

 The participants* are given the opportunity to engage intensively with the screen printing technique and to incorporate it into their artistic work. The program aims to increase the visibility of artists* and provide them with the resources they need for their creative work.

The program offers a unique opportunity to produce new work in close collaboration with printers. Participants work independently and in a productive atmosphere with other contemporary artists.Artists* of all disciplines are invited to apply; knowledge of printing technology is not required, but a certain familiarity with the medium is recommended.

Participants will receive a basic introduction to screen printing. Technical support is not included in the program but can be obtained for an additional fee.

 Applications will be evaluated by a rotating jury of artists, critics, curators and art professionals based on the quality of the submitted work.

 One artist* will be selected annually for the residency.

  Artists* based in Vienna who do not have access to a studio space are encouraged to apply.
