Teiger Foundation’s 2025 Call for Proposals
Teiger Foundation

Our grant categories are single project, three years of programming, hosting, and curatorial research and development. All categories require the following (exceptions noted below):
1. A short reflection in the curator(s) own words that gives context to the proposed project, and up to five links with 100-word captions. (For hosting applicants, this reflection will be on a past project.)
2. A description of your proposed project(s), centering your and/or your colleagues’ curatorial approach and ten images with 100-word captions.
3. A project budget. Sample budgets are available on each category page.
4. Your organization's operating budget for the immediate past and current fiscal years.
5. Proof of 501(c)(3) status. Only 501(c)(3) institutions in the US and US territories are eligible.
US-based contemporary art curators can submit their proposals by January 28, 2025, at 5:00 pm ET to be considered for grants in four categories:
— Up to $150,000 for single projects led by curators at organizations of all sizes
— Up to $150,000 for curators planning three years of programming at organizations with an annual budget of $3.5 million or below
— Up to $75,000 for curators at organizations of all sizes hosting exhibitions that originated elsewhere
— Up to $50,000 for curatorial research and development–the earliest stages of a project
We look forward to starting another year in the company of your great ideas.
