Program Overview
Ask a Curator program is a highly selective, free monthly portfolio review session designed to support artists, curators, researchers, and cultural professionals in the development of their projects and careers. This rigorously structured, one-hour session, led by Mahzabin Haque, founder of All About Curating, offers specialized curatorial feedback, strategic career guidance, and in-depth project development insights to enhance the conceptual and professional trajectory of participants.
Through a process of critical dialogue and scholarly engagement, participants will receive expert analysis of their artistic or curatorial practices, exhibition proposals, and research methodologies. The program is designed to interrogate conceptual frameworks, refine artistic and curatorial strategies, and provide guidance on institutional positioning and funding opportunities. This initiative fosters a discursive environment in which emerging and mid-career professionals can critically assess their work within broader cultural, theoretical, and geopolitical contexts.
