Institutional Encounters 

A core component of Art Intensive Berlin is engaging directly with Berlin's diverse art ecosystem through meaningful institutional exchange. Rather than conventional guided tours, these visits are conceived as opportunities for critical dialogue with curators, directors, founders, and other cultural practitioners who shape the institutions from within.

Participants gain insight into each institution's history, curatorial vision, organisational structure, funding models, and evolving trajectories, while discussing the practical realities of sustaining cultural organisations. Conversations often explore approaches to collaborating with local and international artists, curators, researchers, and other cultural practitioners, offering a nuanced understanding of the institutional, social, and economic frameworks that underpin contemporary art practice.
